Field Sales Engineers Australia
Overview:
Field Sales Engineers are responsible for developing strong relationships with the industrial clients (Manufacturing, food/beverage, distribution, etc.) and provide them with exceptional robotics, material handling and automation solutions to meet their needs. The engineered solutions require an excellent understanding of material flow, information flow, and general business processes.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop in depth knowledge and understanding of the customers products and industry to exploit all available business opportunities
- Establish strong relationships with customer base at all levels; understand their business strategy, and Bastian Solutions’ opportunity to participate
- Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements feasibility and expectations.
- Work closely with sales coordinators to provide product and pricing information.
- Propose and agree on revenue goals and budgets. Increase sales, market share and ensure contract fulfillment to achieve or exceed budget.
- Target key design-in opportunities and tailor Bastian Solutions value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage.
- Promote Bastian Robotics in all appropriate forums.
- Enter sales calls and update company CRM.
- Network with business contacts in the industry (i.e. professional organizations, specialty equipment providers, distributors, service organizations, government business resources, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline preferred
- Technical sales experience in the industrial sector a plus.
- Material Handling automation design and sales experience a plus.
- Robotics experience a plus
- Vision Guided Robotics a plus
- CAD experience (AutoCad) a plus.
