My Experience
At BMH I am responsible for project execution, which essentially comes down to (1) managing the internal and external resources to execute projects for our customers across the globe and (2) ensuring that projects are completed within cost and schedule and that our customers are delighted with the results. Internally, this means scheduling and allocating our project engineers, design engineers, project managers, site managers and installation teams. Externally, I deal with our exceptional supplier network and key automation partners to ensure the needs of our projects are met in a cost effective and professional manner.
Working at Bastian
The thing about working at BMH that appeals to me the most is the challenge of providing our customers with unique solutions. It seems every day at BMH brings a new opportunity or new industry to expand our capabilities, from dispensing pharmaceuticals to palletizing frozen pork to storing and dispensing paint at the largest paint facility in world.
Why do customers come back to me?
Here at BMH we pride ourselves in not only meeting our customer's expectations, but exceeding them. This is one of the keys to our success and in my opinion the reason why customers keep coming back to BMH. Here at BMH we always put the customer first.
A little bit about myself
My wife Nancy and I have lived our entire adult lives in Indianapolis. We have three wonderful children ages 12, 9 and 5 that keep us busy and also drive us crazy. In my free time I enjoy running, camping and generally anything outdoors.

Project work I am most proud of
I have been involved in many different projects at BMH that utilize a variety of technologies to solve our customer's material handling needs. My favorites include component manufacturing in the automotive industry that utilized a series of high speed vision systems to identify parts and route them correctly, and an order fulfillment project in the healthcare industry.
