My Experience
Rich most recently headed up an international project team which has implemented a major material handling system for a paint manufacturer located in India. This green field project included seven AS/RS Cranes, about one-half mile of Pallet Conveyor and an extensive Bastian Exacta Software System.

Project work I am most proud of
BMH has provided several unique conveyor systems for a local manufacturer of Automotive Gas Tanks. The systems provide automated routing of the gas tanks as they proceed through the manufacturing process. The BMH team recently completed a major installation for a manufacturer of DVDs which are distributed to national retail outlets. This system routes completed orders from unit sorters through the pack out operations and out to the shipping docks. The majority of the system was installed on a new mezzanine in order to minimize the impact to the existing operations. An international paint manufacturer chose the ASAP/BMH Team to provide a major Material Handling System for their newest facility located in India. The material handling system supports the automated flow of inbound packaging materials as well as the automated flow of pallets of containers of paint products after the packaging operations. The system include two separate AS/RS Systems which handle pallets of inbound packing materials as well pallets of finished goods prior to shipment from the facility. The system is spread over three buildings and includes a pallet handling conveyor system that is installed within a bridge which links the manufacturing building to the finished goods warehouse. An extensive ASAP Exacta Software System oversees the routing of materials through the various operations within the facility.
