My Experience
After identifying the need for a company to build specialized material handling equipment, Gene Oskay and Jason Effing started Bastian Automation Engineering in March, 2003. Gene is involved in sales, quoting, purchasing, and engineering. As Engineering Manager, he leads a team of design engineers who consistently come up with unique design solutions to resolve customer’s problems.Gene and his wife, Linda are the parents of three grown sons and grandparents of two granddaughters and a grandson. During the past six years, they have opened their hearts and their home to dozens of foster children. Gene would be happy to discuss this rewarding opportunity with anyone who feels the calling to be a foster parent.
