My Experience
Aaron joined Bastian Automation Engineering in 2011 as our manufacturing manager. Prior to joining the team at Bastian Automation Engineering, Aaron was a Robotic Systems Engineer with a robotics systems integrator who focused on material handling, de-burring, and palletizing. He has experience in project management, shop floor supervision, purchasing, shipping, and receiving, design engineering, programming, electrical and mechanical systems within the robotics industry.He graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology (CIMT now Manufacturing Engineering Technology). CIMT is an interdisciplinary degree based around Computer and Information Technology (CIT), Computer Graphics Technology (CGT), Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), and Technology Leadership and Innovation (TLI). This gives him a diverse knowledge base to draw from to efficiently lead his team in producing top quality products for our customersAaron and his wife Liz live in Noblesville, IN with their two daughters Natalie and Caitlyn. They are active in The PROMiSE Church, a United Methodist Church in Fishers, IN, where they serve in children’s and technology ministry teams. In their free time, they enjoy camping and spending time together with extended family. He also enjoys football, motorsports, and shooting sports.
