My Experience
Matt joined the Bastian Automation Engineering team in October of 2011 as a Project Manager where he is responsible for successful execution of custom material handling projects and equipment. As the Project Manager, Matt will closely coordinate and manage projects including, but not limited to, design, schedule, and budget. Matt also works closely with the engineering staff of Blue Arc as well as the fabrication shop and our customers. His background includes over ten years of process engineering, robotics programming, equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting, tooling design, machine modification and redesign, full production line commissioning and startup, and extensive team supervision and direction.Matt graduated from Indiana Tech with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering. He also has certifications for robotic programming from ABB Robotics.Matt enjoys most outdoor activities in his free time including hunting, fishing, camping, and canoeing/kayaking.
