My Experience
Technically my job title at BMH is Warehouse Manager/Inside Sales. In reality I like to think of my self as a Jack of All Trades. In addition to managing the shipping & receiving operations of our warehouse and performing Inside Sales duties like quoting and writing orders, I have other hats that I wear as well. I am responsible for the purchasing of all the conventional material handling equipment and casters that we stock in our Indianapolis warehouse, the physical maintenance of our building and occasional customer site visits to look at a customer application. Because of the length of time I have been with BMH and the knowledge I have amassed regarding conventional material handling equipment, basic powered equipment and suppliers, I am frequently asked for advice regarding particular types of equipment or vendors by fellow teammates.

What I like most about working for BMH is the opportunity to think and use my mind. You never know from day to day what type of customer application you will be asked to provide a solution for, and thus my job rarely becomes repetitive or boring.

When I provide quality solutions that solve a customer need at a competitive price, then they will return with future applications.
A little bit about myself
My wife Angela and I have been happily married since 1990 and have three very wonderful and unique children (2 boys and 1 girl) that keep us very busy. As a family we enjoy going canoeing, taking trips to local state parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, as well as little two or three day trips to surrounding cities to experience their attractions. Because my wife and I typically work different shifts we also enjoy the rare occasion when we can just sit down at home, relax, and simply watch a movie together as a family. My personal interests include playing golf, tennis, basketball, biking, fishing, hunting, gardening, most anything else outdoors related. My family and I are also very involved in the church we attend (which I serve as an Elder in) and the ministries they provide within our community.
Project work I am most proud of
Because of how long I have been with BMH there are many, many projects I am proud of. Rather than recall specific ones I would just say that any project that I have worked on that was successful in the mind of the customer is a project I am proud of. Whether it be a large project that I played a role in, or something as simple as helping a walk-in customer that just needs a couple of casters, all that really matters is if you made the customer happy and supplied a quality solution to their application.
