My Experience
I am responsible for all of the Controls group's HMI (Human Machine Interface) projects. This responsibilty keeps me very busy. I enjoy the opportunity to work on many different projects which adds variety to my job. Being involved with a lot of the 3D rendering work is something that I also enjoy very much. This really incorporates my art background, which I have had as a hobby my entire life. At times, I have also served as a Site Supervisor for electrical and mechanical installations.
Working at Bastian
I really enjoy the opportunity to use my own ideas, combined with others on my team, to accomplish my work. BMH allows me the opportunity to express my creative side to come up with an end product that everyone enjoys using.
Why do customers come back to me?
I take pride in the quality of work that I deliver to the customer. I always want the customer to be completely satisfied with the end product. If the customer requires changes or needs something to be fixed, I am always willing to help customers to get the job or issues taken care of as quickly as possible and to their liking.
A little bit about myself
I live in Fishers, Indiana with my wife Laura and our two daughters, Regan and Gillian. I spend my free time playing disc (frisbee) golf, boating, cooking, playing guitar and attending my daughters' competitive cheerleading competitions. I also enjoy spending time socializing with friends.
Project work I am most proud of
I am proud of my work on an HMI project for an Isothermic Forging Press operation involving several different processes, robots and manipulators. I have also worked on HMI projects for several distribution centers for monitoring many different types of automated systems.
