Business Challenges

  • Garmin’s main goal for their Olathe, KS distribution center was to minimize manual touches by automating the majority of manual processes, as well as consolidating required manual activities to a centralized location
  • BMH's system needed to accommodate an annual growth rate goal of 30% for five years

Results

  • Garmin's old system required two shifts of 20 employees to work 8 hours, while the new system only requires one 10 hour shift of 7-8 employees
  • The BMH system has allowed Garmin to automate the majority of their manual operations and maximize employee efficiency
