How can you reduce these burdens without it hitting hard on your wallet? Let me explain three low-cost entry pieces of equipment that will be sure to increase your picking rate, reduce your travel times, and decrease fatigue on your hard working employees.

These units can usually be found near shipping docks, at the end or start of conveyor lines, or near manufacturing operations where loading/unloading occurs. The Spring Level Loader can hold pallets which weigh up to 4,500 lbs and can freely rotate a pallet 360 degrees. This rotation allows the employee to stay in one place while loading and unloading a pallet. Another key benefit of the “level loader” is that it uses springs to automatically adjust to an ergonomic picking/placing height.

The PalletPal Disc Turntable is a low profile design (less than 1 inch) that will allow you to load a pallet onto the turntable using conventional equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack.

This piece of equipment is ideal when you only need to rotate your pallet. The main benefit to the PalletPal turntable is that it allows the employee to stay in one place by removing the need to walk around the load. It also greatly reduces injury from reaching and stretching to pick or place a load.
