Join the Indianapolis WERCouncil on April 21, 2010 for a tour of the SMC Corporation of America Manufacturing, Distribution and North American Headquarters in Noblesville, Indiana!

Bastian Material Handling and ASAP Automation recently helped SMC consolidate two buildings into one 796,000 square foot facility housing distribution and production operations. The recommended system helped SMC increase efficiency in picking, packaging, and consolidation operations and added flexibility and additional capacity for future opportunities.

SMC Corporation of America is the world’s largest manufacturer of pneumatic automation products. BMH helped SMC increase efficiency in picking, packaging, and consolidation operations by utilizing over 3 miles of Hytrol and Ambaflex conveyor, 900,000 pounds of Unarco pallet rack, Rockwell RSView Human Machine Interface (HMI) and ASAP Automation’s Exacta Warehouse Management System (WMS.)
