Cancellation Policy

 

OSHA recommends this initial training program to individuals as an orientation to occupational safety and health. In this format, the program is intended to provide entry level workers with a broad awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards. The training program covers a variety of safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a General Industry work site.  Our emphasis is on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

Important Mandatory Safety Topics covered in this course include:

• Introduction to OSHA
• Walking & Working Surfaces, Including Fall Protection
• Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention & Protection
• Electrical
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Hazard Communication

• Hazardous Materials
• Materials Handling
• Machine Guarding
• Introduction to Industrial Hygiene
• Blood Borne Pathogens
• Ergonomics
• Safety and Health Program
• Fall Protection

Special industry recommendations are available for the following professions:

• Medical / Health Care
• Maintenance
• Utility
• Office

 

BMH will refund your full program fee if you cancel 10 or more business days in advance. There are no refunds if canceling with less than 10 business days notice, or for non-attendance. In such situations, employers are permitted and encouraged to send another individual in place of the original attendee. If for any reason, a schedule program is cancelled by BMH, individuals will be permitted to reschedule at no additional charge or issued a full refund of the registration fee. BMH is not responsible for any airline or hotel accommodation cancellation costs or fees.

30 Hour General Industry Outreach Training Program

**Training can be provided at your location upon request

OSHA recommends this training program to individuals with some safety responsibility at work or on the job site. In this format, the program is intended to provide a variety of training on safety and health hazards which a worker may encounter at a General Industry work site, but with more in-depth analysis than that covered in the 10-Hour Outreach Training Program for the General Industry.

Important Mandatory Safety Topics covered in this course include:

• Introduction to OSHA
• Walking & Working Surfaces, Including Fall Protection
• Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention & Protection
• Electrical
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Hazard Communication

Elective and Optional Topics which are tailored to each course include:

• Hazardous Materials
• Permit-Required Confined Spaces
• Lockout / Tag out
• Machine Guarding
• Welding, Cutting, and Brazing
• Introduction to Industrial Hygiene
• Blood Borne Pathogens
• Ergonomics
• Fall Protection
• Safety and Health Program
• Powered Industrial Vehicles
