How S7000 Bi-directional Sorter Works

The S7000 Roller Top belt surface is activated by a series of rack and pinion rollers mounted below the belt. By altering the angle of the rollers located underneath the belt surface, either pneumatically or electrically, the resulting action is to spin the rollers on the belt surface in either the left or right sort direction. This activation system provides the ability to divert products in either direction at high speeds with as little as 4” gap between products.

Due to the roller density of the S7000 belt surface, nearly any product or configuration can be effectively diverted efficiently with positive control. Additionally, the system allows divert zones to be located directly adjacent to each other providing for the smallest footprint possible while virtually unlimited in length or number of divert zones.
