The zero pressure drive shaft/spool driven live roller accumulation conveyor uses a line shaft that drives each roller that is connected to the line shaft with a spool and rubber o-ring. The line shaft extends from the infeed to discharge end of the conveyor with each roller having its own connection to the line shaft. This is also a zero pressure accumulating conveyor with the use of the Electronic Logic System. The Electronic Logic System allows product to flow along the conveyor without touching other product. This conveyor offers positive braking in each zone due to the friction found between the spools on the line shaft. The use of a line shaft means that there is no belt to cause dirt build-up or pinch points, keeping the conveyor clean, safe, and relatively quiet. This conveyor can be used to power “slave-driven” straight sections, curves, and or spurs, which offers a savings on power consumption and installation costs.Typically, the zero pressure drive shaft/spool driven live roller accumulation conveyor is used for transporting totes, cartons, or stand-alone products along long distances including around curves and spurs thanks to the ability to slave different conveyor bed sections together. The 1.9” rollers allow a capacity of 15lbs per driving roller, which would be good for conveying light to medium weight product. Because of the low noise level and the clean nature of the conveyor, retail, food, canning, and pharmaceutical industries can benefit from the use of the pressure drive shaft/spool driven live roller accumulation conveyor.
