High Speed Pusher Sortation
High speed pusher sorters are used to sort items difficult to convey due to their irregular shapes. Cylinder belt pushers can divert 120 items per minute and at a right angle onto chutes on close center lines.

How High Speed Pushers Work
High speed pushers can accurately track and divert small to medium sized products onto chutes that are 90-degrees from the sort conveyor at rates up to 120 items per minute. High speed pushers utilize a plastic modular cleated belt with a pusher mechanism, to provide a positive divert, allowing products to be diverted at a right angle onto chutes on close center lines. As the product moves directly in front of the divert lane the pusher extends to quickly send the product down the desired divert lane. All pusher types change the product orientation with respect to its travel direction at the moment the product is pushed into the divert lane.
