Strip Doors

PVC strip doors are designed to help save energy by temperature control, reduce dust and noise, and allow traffic to flow easily. All strip doors are made of Clear-Flex II® material which is fire-resistant, self-extinguishing polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

Clear-Flex II® PVC plastic strip door material is the new world standard for quality, featuring improved edges for optimum safety and superior clarity. A wide variety of formulations, sizes, types, and properties make it simple to choose the Clear-Flex II® PVC strip door products.

Energy Savings - Our Clear-Flex II® Strip Door saves you energy costs by reducing the amount of heated or cooled air lost through your unprotected opening. Superior design features, like rounded edges to prevent cutting and concaveness to promote tight sealing, assure maximum efficiency and safety. Our special fabrication process keeps the strips hanging straight without warping, even under temperature extremes.
Dust Control - The Clear-Flex II® Strip Door’s sealing properties prevent the movement of dust, dirt and other contaminants from one area to another. This helps reduce overall clean-up costs in the plant.
Noise Reduction - Strip doors and curtains provide a virtually unbreakable sound barrier. Tests by an independent testing laboratory have confirmed that Clear-Flex II® Strip Doors significantly reduce the transmission of sound. Researchers assigned our products a sound transmission rating of Class 13.
Special Safety Tips - Clear-Flex II® Strip Doors are supplied with special bright orange safety strips. These strips, when hung at the extreme right and left of the Clear-Flex II® Strip Door, clearly mark the throughways to help prevent accidents. The safety strips are provided at no extra charge.
Minimal Maintenance - Maintenance is minimal with the Clear-Flex II® Strip Door. An occasional application of our exclusive Vinyl Strip Cleaner is usually all that is required. Dilute as required for cleaning tasks, but generally three (3) parts water to one (1) part cleaner is sufficient. Apply by hand (protective gloves recommended) with a soft cloth or use in conventional steam cleaning equipment.

Standard Strip Doors

Standard strip doors are engineered for indoor or outdoor applications, withstanding temperatures from -10°F to 150°F. Standard strip doors are our most versatile and will not discolor in sun light.

Scratch Guard Strip Doors

Scratch Guard strip doors feature a superior scratch resistant material. Its non-stick surface reduces static electricity and provides an easier, safer entry for pedestrian traffic. Scratch guard strip doors are also available in low-temperature strips.

Low-Temperature Strip Doors

Low temperature strip doors are intended for interior applications only. These strips are recommended for cooler or freezer applications and meet the requirements for food service operations and USDA inspected facilities. Remains flexible in temperatures as low as -40 degrees F.

Low-Temp Reinforced Strip Doors

Low temperature reinforced strips feature nylon string extruded within the material to prevent elongation or shrinkage of material due to temperature variations. These are used best in freezer or cooler applications and intended for interior applications only. These strip doors remain flexible in temperatures as low as -40°F. Low-temperature reinforced strips meet the requirements for food service operations and USDA inspected facilities.

Dark Amber Strip Doors

Dark amber strip doors are best used in welding screen applications to block ultra violet rays or as a partial sight barrier.

Aztec Orange Strip Doors

Aztec orange strip doors are also best for welding screen applications or as a partial sight barrier.

Opaque Strip Doors

Opaque strip doors are used for conveyor openings or as a total sight barrier between areas. These are not recommended for areas where motorized traffic might be present. Available in black only.

Anti-Static Strip Doors

These anti-static strip doors are used to reduce static electricity from objects or persons, dissipating it back into the atmosphere. For use in clean rooms, computer component assembly areas, etc. Anti static strips have a light green tint for user identification.

Ambertech Strip Doors

These strip doors are known for their anti-insect and anti-glare properties. Restricts most flying insects’ ability to detect attracting lights and heat. Also reduces blinding daytime glare. Ambertech strip doors have the same physical properties as standard strip doors.

Specialty Colored Strip Doors

Available in blue, green, and beige transparent colors to liven up the work-place, designate entranceways, or match corporate colors.

Ribbed Strip Doors

The offset ribbed material reduces scratching and abrasions from heavy use allowing the strips to last longer and to provide a stronger seal than smooth material.
