The 4 Axis Palletizing Robot

Robotic palletizing is improving speed, quality, and accuracy in both manufacturing and distribution. To accommodate these high-speed, high-productivity applications, we recommend the 4 Axis Palletizing Robot which offers:

• High reliability based on proven technology.
• High palletizing capacity - 1,200 cycles per hour.
• High load capability – up to 400 lbs.
• A large twenty foot work envelope.
• The ability to palletize up to the inside dimension of an over the road truck (110 inches).

The 4 Axis Palletizing (IRB 660) is commonly used for the following palletizing applications:

The Pick & Place Robot

The Pick & Place Robot is capable of achieving a speed of over 120 cycles per minute thus making it the fastest robot in the world. More than 1,200 of the Pick & Place Robot are installed worldwide and they are generally used in primary and secondary packaging applications. The Pick & Place Robot (IRB 340) can utilized in a wide variety of environmental conditions including USDA washdown applications in the food and beverage industry.

The 4 Axis Packing Robot

Bastian offers a dedicated Packing Robot which can easily accommodate all major packing operations. This dedicated 4 Axis Packing Robot (IRB 260) is optimized for both speed and payload. For instance, a 10kg box will achieve 60 cycles per minute while a 20 kg box will achieve 40 cycles per minute. The 4 Axis Packing Robot features a small footprint allowing the robot to operate in confined areas.
