Vision Guided Robots Applications
Individual Bottle Picking
Individual bottle picking robots can create mixed cases of individual bottles at rates up to 200+ picks per hour. The bottle picking robots can be mounted to an Automated Guide Vehicle or configured in a stationary position on top of a conveyor that moves products past the robot for picks. These robots allow for mixed case orders to be configured quicker than ever before.
Robots in Pick Modules
By placing bottle picking robots in pick modules you can eliminate the need for workers to manually pick products for induction into the material handling system. Robots are more accurate than their human counterparts when picking items.
Robotic Trailer Loading and Truck Container Loading
The Bastian truck and trailer loading robot can help you load heavy cartons or cases into dockside trucks and trailers. The truck and trailer loading robotic cell can be attached to the end of an extendable conveyor and continuously fed by an upstream conveyor system. Another configuration utilizes gantry style robots to load containers, which can then be loaded onto trucks or trailers.
How Bottle Picking Robots Work
The Bastian Bottle Picking Robot System uses a combination of vision guidance and traditional positioning to gently pick bottled products from a racking system, carousel, or mobile shelf. The bottle picking robots can either be mounted on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and travel to the product or be fixed where the product is presented to the robot. Both designs are modular and scalable from 10,000 to 100,000 bottles per a day depending on your requirements.
