February 7, 2012 -- Bastian Solutions (www.bastiansolutions.com) is proud to sponsor the premiere episode of Move It!, a web-based series that takes a behind the scenes look at the U.S. logistics industry. Each half-hour episode explains how leading companies, such as Amway, Old Dominion Freight Line, Port of Virginia, and others get their products to consumers.
The first episode of Move It! premiered on February 6, at Modex, an industry tradeshow for the manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain industries. The episode was shown at 4 p.m. as an exclusive, invitation-only event and featured Amway's Midwest distribution center in Michigan, a system Bastian recently designed and implemented.
"Move It! provides industry pioneers an opportunity to showcase leading and cutting edge system solutions, such as the system Bastian recently delivered for Amway in Ada, Michigan," stated Aaron Jones, National Director at Bastian Solutions. "The Amway team should be commended for their innovative business approach and utilization of best-in-class technology, and it is great to see systems such as this recognized by DC Velocity and brought to the public eye."
Move It! is hosted by Emmy-award winning TV personality, Steve Thomas, who previously hosted PBS's, This Old House, and co-produced by David Maloney, senior editor of DC Velocity magazine.
