Asian Paints Celebrates New Plant in Rohtak

On April 12th Asian Paints celebrated the inauguration of their new plant with a grand open house. Asian Paints is India's largest paint company. This state-of-the-art paint plant is located at Industrial Model Town (IMT) in Rohtak. With a production capacity of 400 million liters of paint every year, this plant is one of the largest facilities in the world. BMH started work on this project in July 2008 and the project team successfully completed this project in record time - 12 months! The project also included Gebhardt conveyors and vertical lifts, Swisslog Accalon cranes, and Nilkamal Bito racking systems. One of the coolest features: this project will include 7 cranes over 90 feet tall! Special congratulations to SPS Chauhan at ASAP Automation India for his hard work on the project.
