A Warehouse Control System
or WCS collects real-time information from the automated material handling equipment and devices and Warehouse Management System or Enterprise Resource Planning system to efficiently direct and manage automated material handling and processing within a warehouse. The Warehouse Control Software is the critical link between these systems and provides user interfaces for management, diagnostics, monitoring and control. It is the focal point for the management of operational processes in material handling systems.
Advanced Warehouse Control Software includes both traditional routing controls along with modules of functionality typically found within a Warehouse Management System including such things as inventory control, labeling and RF operations. The Warehouse Control Software picks up where the Warehouse Management System software leaves off. The modular nature of the Exacta® Warehouse Control Software allows for additional functionality to be easily added in as the needs of the facility change and grow.
ASAP Automation is a leader in providing Supply Chain Execution Software and Automation Technologies. The Exacta™ WCS software suite integrates with: Pick-to-Display, Pick-to-Light, Pick-to-Voice, Carousels, AS/RS, Robotics, and a wide variety of other advanced picking automation.
