Welcome to our newest employees

 
We recently welcomed 13 new employees to the BMH corporate office in Indianapolis for a week-long training session. The employees were able to learn more about BMH and our sister companies, ASAP Automation and Blue Arc Engineering. Capping off the week were site visits to two of our customer sites, SMC Corporation of America and Becton Dickinson. Below is a list of the attendees: Ryan Chesterfield graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology and joins the BMH LA office as a Field Sales Engineer. Bill Hawthorne was formerly the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hytrol Conveyor Company. He supported the growth of 80 domestic distributors and 23 international distributors. His work over the years developing this distributor network helped double Hytrol’s annual sales. Bill also assisted with the promotion of new products through strategic advertising, which helped increase Hytrol’s presence in the material handling industry. He is the Director of Sales for BMH Atlanta. Craig Hendrix recently joined the IT team at BMH Indianapolis as a Business Intelligence Developer. Craig was employed by Interactive Intelligence for the past 10 years, most recently as a Program Manager of Business Intelligence, Operations and Compliance. Craig Lee is our newest Project Manager in the ASAP Automation Louisville office. Craig most recently worked as an Operations Manager with AVC Security. In this role, he managed all technicians and projects for on time on budget completion. Farhan Sajjad Malik started last week as a Bastian Controls Engineer. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State and went back for his Master’s in Electrical Engineering. Farhan also worked at LSI Logic in technical support. Jessica Reynolds is the newest Quality Assurance Specialist at ASAP Automation Louisville. Jessica was most recently employed by Fruit of the Loom as a Junior Quality Security Analyst. Jacob Robertson recently joined Bastian Controls as a Controls Engineer. He most recently worked at Honda where he gained conveyor experience and managed projects. Jake has experience with several kinds of robots including, Fanuc, Motoman, Bosch, and Staubli. Jason Schlueter is a Mechanical Design Engineer at BMH Robotics. Jason recently graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jason has interned at Invensys Controls. Stuart Schneider comes to Bastian with 16 years of experience in the material handling industry; the last 11 years of which he has worked with Dematic as an Ontario territory manager. Prior to working at Dematic Stuart spent 6 years in sales with Conveyors Unlimited and Rolmaster Conveyor, both of which were based locally in Ontario. Stuart’s experience includes integrating complex conveyor, AGVs, robotic, and ASRS systems which will prove to be very valuable assets for Bastian’s Sales Consultant position. Colin Shipley recently joined BMH Robotics as a Robotics Developer. He graduated from Rose-Hulman in May with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Robotics. Christina Vandenberg recently joined the IT team at BMH Indianapolis. Most recently Christina worked as an Application Developer with TelSpan Worldwide Teleconferencing in Indianapolis where she prepared and successfully led the system upgrade from Microsoft CRM 1.4 to 4.0 including the migration to the new domain, customizations, testing, migration of data, and training efforts.
