Pick to Light

How Pick to Light Works

Pick to light systems increase the speed, efficiency, and productivity of picking processes and give your order processing operations the boost it needs. The system uses light devices mounted on flow rack, workstations, or mobile carts to guide operators to the correct location and quantities of the items needed to fulfill an order.

Pick to light is an easy process to learn—training a picking operator can take between 30 and 45 minutes—which means you can quickly see the benefits of your system soon after implementation.

Software

Bastian Solutions’ Exacta intralogistics software allows for stand-alone pick to light use as an order fulfillment software solution or it can be integrated directly into your existing host systems through Exacta WES or WCS software solutions for important order information. As orders are processed, Exacta sends updates back either in real-time as each pick is completed or in batches as individual orders are completed. Detailed operator metrics are displayed through reporting tools in Exacta.
