How It Works

The M10 Tug AV is a low-profile tugger that transports casterized carts along programmed routes to designated stops, pick-ups, and drop off points. With a category 3 safety-rating and bidirectional safety scanning, this driverless vehicle can carefully navigate among pedestrian and forklift traffic without hitting obstacles.

The M10 Tug AV’s built-in LiDAR scanners identify existing features in the environment and match them to a virtual map, allowing it to determine its location and follow its programmed path. Designed with bidirectional travel and a significantly smaller turn radius than other tug AV options in the market, the M10 can adeptly navigate around existing infrastructure and in tight spaces.

Hitching to a cart is as easy as driving to the programmed pickup location, driving underneath the cart and raising its tow pin. Multiple routes and missions can be programmed for the day or changed on the fly by an operator at a computer using the provided software. When connected to WES software, missions can be automatically assigned and changed as needed. If your facility layout changes, routes, missions, and stops are all easily changed through the provided software.

Bastian Solutions’ integrated AVs (autonomous vehicles) utilize our proprietary middleware solution to seamlessly connect vehicles from various manufacturers to customers’ enterprise systems. With this pre-packaged software stack, users can orchestrate complex, multi-fleet AV systems, improving interoperability, productivity and adaptability to future operational needs.
