Polaris Case Study

Polaris Expands Capacity and Boosts Fulfillment with AutoStore and Packsize Integration

Polaris, a global leader in powersports, expanded its Wilmington, Ohio distribution center to improve service for customers across the eastern U.S. and Canada. With more than 25,000 SKUs of parts, garments, and accessories, the facility needed a long-term solution to increase storage density, boost order accuracy, and stay flexible during peak seasons – while also creating a smoother, less strenuous work environment for employees.

Working with Bastian Solutions, Polaris implemented a fully integrated AutoStore and Packsize system to replace its zone-route picking modules with a high-density, goods-to-person workflow. The automation significantly reduced operator fatigue, simplified training and streamlined order flow from receiving through packing and outbound shipping.

The result is a scalable, people-first fulfillment operation that improves storage capacity, reduces costs, and enhances both the employee and customer experience.
